Capitola neighbors oppose skate park at Noble Gulch
Here we go again. I can see another 10 years of this just like the Santa Cruz Skatepark. Not in my backyard! I have to say that the Noble Gulch Park isn't the best location for a skatepark. The park will be too small like Jose park and the homes are way to close. I can see nothing good come of it in the long run. The McGregor lot, next to New Brighton State Beach still seems like the best out of the three locations picked. I think people would rather see a skatepark then a hotel. And if you are going to build a hotel then you should at least consider all the kids in town that want a skatepark. And believe me it's not just kids, it's parents with kids and adults that skate. Skateboarding is a family sport it's not a bunch of teenagers that thrash, litter and yell.
